The Valle di Chio is an authentic jewel, naturally and historically.  Surrounded by mountains and the hills of Castiglion Fiorentino, it was once an important link between the Adriatic and Tirreno Sea.  Well preserved, it is a splendid spot for trekking, mountain bikes and horse riding, taking you to new horizons.

Castiglion Fiorentino, situated on a hill between Arezzo and Cortona, is a fascinating medieval town, with its symbolic tower the “Torre Del Cassero”.  At the foot of the tower is a vast monumental area which include the remains of the old castle, archaeological excavations, etruscan museum, and an art gallery (Pinacoteca) which contains masterpieces of great value from the Renaissance.
